My freezer has light...
That's actually pretty funny! Weird, but funny! But good song you wrote. I've been wondering about that question myself. I took it upon myself to do research and according to Yahoo! Answers, this is what I found as the best answer...My freezers (I have more than one fridge) do not have lights. I assume it's because when you turn on the light, the bulb changes temperature wildly, and again when you turn it off. That's got to be tough on the bulb. One solution might be to use LED lights, which now come in white. And, they use less power for an amount of light, so they don't get so hot. That would make them more efficient. Of course, it could have to do with the issue of having frost all over them. BTW, I hear some freezers do have light. Our freezer has light in our Florida home. I wanted to get another one in Sears or PC Richard, but they were either expensive or all sold out. Keep writing your parodies, Gari!

My freezer has a light in it, but it hasn't worked since shortly after I moved into where I now live. The fridge in which it is on top of was made in 1976, and I cannot get a bulb for it since they are no longer made for that style of refrigerator. Great job, and 5s.

Congrats, Gari J. You managed to get a comment from TSB. You can now retire... just kidding. I've done a parody to The Original Song (TOS), and it's not easy to pace or format. I got a little lost in the second verse, but not enough to dock you for it. The theme was a little repetitive, but overall a good parody.

Red Ant, what do you mean by it being less dangerous? I took it as meaning that I would have a harder time finding the frozen Zero bars, cheesecakes, Hot Pockets, strombolis, quarts of Haagen-Dazs, burritos and other tasty items of junkfood in there.
