| Parody Song Title: | "Masters of War" |
| Parody Written by: | MarthaDTox |
I hear God has been instructing George Bush to invade Afghanistan and Iraq..and as for UsamaSing this to "Angels" by Robbie Williams
When I negotiate
choirs of angels
Contemplate my fate
they always know
the places I must go
Afghanistan and so
cos I've been told
that invasion lets their wings unfold
so when I'm lying in my bed
planes flying overhead
and I feel that love is dead
I'm hearin' God in my head
And through it all
he issues his instructions
for mayhem and destruction
How can I ever be wrong
I'll always hear his call
wherever it may take me
I know Iraq won't break me
Cos when I make that call
He wont forsake me
I'm hearin God in my head
Not too long to wait
For the triumph
of the Caliphate
I look above
and I know I will always
be blessed with love
and as the feeling grows
he breathes flesh to my bones
and I act at his behest
Allah says death to the west
And through it all
he issues his instructions
for mayhem and destruction
How can I ever be wrong
I'll always hear his call
wherever it may take me
I know Iraq won't break me
Cos when I make that call
He wont forsake me
Allah is here in my head
Allah and God they're the best
And through it all
he issues his instructions
for mayhem and destruction
How can I ever be wrong
I'll always hear his call
wherever it may take me
I know Iraq won't break me
Cos when I make that call
He won't forsake me
Allah and God they're the best

My word, there's some good ones on today: this is brilliant, Martha.
(I have done a parody to this song, but it's serious Whatfreaks material - might get round to posting it there at some point)

Since when does a song have to make any sense to be good? I'd say this stands up extremely well against the original, and compared to that is coherent and much more meaningful :-)
That last remark was made by someone using my name Phil .. but it wasn't me!!
I guess whoever it was did not appreciate the generally anti religious sentiment of the lyric..
Great it has been taken out!!
No worries... it did seem like an odd sort of comment (especially considering the parody). Now it's gone, though, it does make things start to look confusing... and you'd better stop adding comments now, or you'll end up writing
