Riddle me this: Who in their right mind would cast Jim Carrey as Batman? Well-paced, but otherwise a disaster.
Let me joke you that: No one took the idea of Michael Keaton as Batman seriously at first, either. Did he ever surprise the critics!
Similarly, James Carrey is physically a Bruce Wayne type and thus he would be PERFECT for the Batcostume.
I agree with you Parker. Similarily, I recall that Tim Burton wanted to do a Superman film with Nic Cage in it. That one was in development hell for quite a while and then after that I guess it didn't come to fruiation in the end. I also kinda agree on casting someone like Jim Carrey as Batman- after all Michael Keaton was a superb Batman much better than George Glooney was And on the subject of superheroes being played by comedians I think that Jerry Seinfeld would make a fabulous Superman- after all he's a really big fan of Superman. Here's a little interesting factoid for ya: Nic Cage's son is called Kal El which is Superman's real name.
Also a Crimson Chin movie would be amazing, I would love to see Jay Leno as the Crimson Chin in that film.
