In case they they get cut off TOS name is "Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town" and the parody name is "Overly Long Song Title That No One Can Remember". This parody is making fun of TOS title and also "Jeremy" for getting played to death. I took a few minor liberties with pacing but it karaoked fine for me.
I seem to recognize.. this song
Something familiar but, with a ti-tle quite long
Rack my mind, it's hopeless-ly gone, all an-swers wrong
(not)"Daugh-ter" nor "Evenflow", help me
Called a radio.. D-J
He didn't know.. the name
But said he would play "Jer-e-my"..
What the heck's the name?, pains... my brain
What the heck's the name?, pains... my brain
I swear I recognize.. the words
Vedder sings.. distinctively, and hardly rhymes much
Name I barely recall..
Of this tune by Pearl Jam..
Must suck when.. they play this in.. concert!
Next is "Elderly Woman - Behind
(The) Counter In A - Small Town"
Perhaps that's why we hear "Jer-e-my"!
I just want to scream!... THIS BLOWS!..
My God this title's long!, could ya make it shorter!
As quickly as remembered, I forget its name...
What the heck's the name?, again..?
What the heck's the name?, pains... my brain
And the title name, fades... away
[fade out with above line in slight variations]

Seems my title was correct......
DKTOS, but it seems the song is shorter than the title(get it?). Interesting idea, good theme.

Hey Jeremy is a great song. I have Ten and usually play that song two/three times before moving on. But, sadly it and Even Flow, which is my 2nd favorite PJ song, are as you said, overplayed compared to others they have written. Good parody though. 555. Vedder's just an idiot, so we have to forgive his annoyingly long title. :D
Thanks Step-chan, Pat and Huff.
A piss into the pretentious prattle of PJ. Excellent. 555
Thanks Agrimorfee.
