Of all insects that might find him enticing
No bug that you've heard of
Would make Santa worse off than these

While fleas tend to bite
And can be annoying
At the North Pole
They don't hurt Christmas Day
But these bugs from down South
Just were destroying
All hope of succeeding
Because they were eating the sleigh

Now they cannot reach the homes
With the stockings - the sleigh is wood
The termites felt hunger
That combo's not good
The kids'll get grumpy
I doubt they'll control their rage
I can see old Santa
Moving to NYC
He'll say ho ho ho
But the kids won't believe
Since the red nosed-reindeer
Was stubborn and scared to bathe, to bathe

They made some more sleighs
Which weren't long lastin'
The wooden workshop
Was in disarray
Can't use metal
Since they're much too old fashioned
Nick's stuck when he's needed
Since termites have eaten the sleigh
