Prop Your Eyes
Drink Caffiene
and Pull Out the Console Fights
Nintendo and Sega Plights
Fat plumbers and hedgehogs all night
Pour some Soy on your Wet Rice
Joy, I've got sushi though bland
I will beat you in Japan
I will play anything
We don't need to pretend
Let's play DDR
Dancing like we're stars
and we'll see moon-light
Matsuri sparks my life
There's so much to do
Sumo fights are cool
and I will not blame you
When I beat you tooooooooooooooooooooo
Dude Relax
Take it slow
I've practiced from ten years old
I've got anime for you
Man are you ready
for some Japanese food
Toss your shoes
on the floor
I'm gonna take my shoes off too
I can't wear them in my room
Now, whatever you're thinking I'll win this tonight
We can play soccer
Known as football here
Or go to temples
Filled with relics and pearls
I'm not playing dude
Japan really rules
and you cannot blame me
for wanting it's food
Maybe tonight Dragons fly
Yes they fly through the sky
Just watch the lights
In the night
Anything that you dream
They will make you happy
for your night, your night
your niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight
It's the rising sun
Eastern horizon
3,000 Islands
Something for everyone
It's a bustling crowd
Filled in everytown
and they're smartest hands down
Won't say not endowed
Life has just begun
Tokyo's so fun
Always number one
In kid's education
They no what to do
Their art's really cool
and I cannot help if I love their fooooooooooooooood

A fistful of fives. Gweat pawody!
I can't blame you for loving their food, or those fat plumbers and hedgehogs...... Ahhhhhhh... Mario and Sonic, I'd take them over DDR anyday
It makes me wanna go! 555
Cute piece B.A.D. 555.
Eye love your slant on this
nice one b.a.d. some tasty lines in there. 555
This parody wasn't "Lost In Translation"! Very nice tribute.
BTW, having heard your rendition (the OS i never heard before), and must admit you took on a terribly difficult song and pulled it off well in addition to the content.
Agree with Jason, this was cute. Dave, how about sending me an email over on 00s with your email. Maybe you could record some of my greatest hits since I lack the equipment to do so.---MM
At least at the moment it's karaokedavid82@yahoo.com Just so you know for recording, I'm very random as for both Matthias and Red Ant what I do is go through their "parography" and choose a song I feel like singing that night. . .that's when I perform my best. . .I would love to record some for you and as you've seen with the aforementioned writers the only note I ask is that I am mentioned as the vocalist (which can be by Michael McVey featuring Below Average Dave or something similar to that) Yeah email me and I'll start recording, but just so you know you may have a bit of a que line in front of you, ever since Weenie on a Hot Bun and South Park hit the top 10 on Soundclick.com, my email address has become rather crowded and I've been getting a lot of requests. . .but don't let that stop you, I wouldn't mind--know though that while I will eventually get to requested songs of yours I tend to warm up with older and more comfortable songs of any writer so I can get used to their style of writing.
(AGES) Now that was awesome. I so need to bug you into recording my parodies.
(Ages) I'm with youâ€"Japanese food is awesome! Judging by this parody, you'd make a great tour guide, Dave.
(AGES) See above. Wax on, wax off.
Good work.
(ABC) An oldie (relatively speaking) from Dave, nice to make its acquaintance again.
Watch where you pour that Soy , Sir !
(ABC) ah, I've been through the "milk-Japan-for-all-possible-gags" routine too dave

Nicole and I loved the recording, especially the spoken ending not listed as lyrics here. I'm sorta surprised this doesn't have like a bazillion hits: where is the pride, Japan? =)
velly velly goot...and I too rove yapanesse foot...and DDR
Another Ages submit... Man... This has to be one of your best Dave, even if it was one of your earliest ones.
Okashii yoppodo, Davo-san! Clever stuff, and as a Japanophile, I enjoyed this immensely. 555

ABC- Me likey. Also very good recording. You OK American Joe. Hey soldier boy... OK enough stereotyping. Very funny and good work as usual, Dave.
Listened to your recording of your song! You sounded great as always. Those video games you mentioned are my favorites, especially Sonic and DDR. I just like to say, Eraidesune, Dave! (Great work!) Take 5 Hyundai cars, 5 soba noodles, and 5 ninja gears!
