Parody Song Title:

"TacoBell"

Parody Written by:

Billy Boyd

I-I-I-I-I-I
feel hungry tonight
I-I-I-I-I-I
need to be satisfied
Oh, but it's late
yeah, it's late
oh, so where can I go?
Then, I am aware, and
I yell "Yo Quiero!"

Foo-ood
Foo-ood
Foo-ood
Foo-ood

I-I-I-buy
three taco supremes
aaaand
a Mexican Pizza
And I gobble,
some taco sauce
it gets on my forehead
I'm done before I'm home
and I feel better, fed

ooo-oooh
ooo-oooh
ooo-oooh
ooo-oooh

Pacing's a little off in a few lines, but not enough for me to 455. Great take on this song Billy Boyd, and congratulations on the first submission as well.

Thanks, Ant. I had kinda hoped that you would think this parody was okay since I know you're probably the biggest AIC fan on here, or at least the most vocal. I had actually only heard the OS a little under a week ago, and it blew my away, one of the best and saddest songs I've ever heard. So, this parody was done with no disrespect to AIC. With a few exceptions, most things I parody are songs I like and listen to alot. Sadly, I'm about a decade behind, but I'm quickly becoming a big AIC fan myself,, rather than just a "Man In The Box" fan, which I've been for a long time.

Yeah, this song is one of Alice's darkest and saddest (especially since Layne passed) but you did it justice. How did you come about this song? It didn't get much radio play around here, "Brother" was the main track from the Sap CD. Anyway, I think you'll find more and more Alice songs that you like. While MITB is good, most everything else AiC did was far better. And yes, I am the biggest AiC here, and the most vocal about it. ;-)

ACK! One correction, while "Brother" was the main track from the Sap CD, this song is from the Jar of Flies CD. I think I'll give it a listen right now since my AiC knowledge showed an unforgivable blip.
