^ most likely to the feminazis who thought that re-making a classic with an all-female cast was a sure recipe for success! 5's I ain't afraid of no ghosts... but I AM afraid of what political correctness is doing to us!
Even the trailers for it looked horrible. But it has made $218 million, $46 million during the first weekend. 555 disappointments!
Sony managed to blow at least $100 million on promotion...the same promotion that includes two crappy trailers and I heard the person who made them got fired. In the end it's not making profits. There's also the fact that theaters are entitled to a cut of the gross. How much depends on the theater chains though. With that said, the critics who rate it positively lost tons of credibility.
