The Lyrics
True "The Eagle Has Landed" story of WW2- but against Josef Stalin. On September 6, 1944 a commando group from I/KG 200 landed via Ar-232 transport 150 km west of Moscow at Karmanova. The plane was damaged, but the commandos survived. Two assassins in full Soviet uniforms and a motorcycle with side-car traveled as far as Rezhev but were stopped at a control point. Their papers were in perfect order- Hero fo the Soviet Union Tavrin and Jun-Lt Shilova (a German female commando), They would have passed except that it had rained heavily the night before and they and their motorcycle were bone dry! They were arrested and executed. A hunt was on for the rest of their crew which fled back to German lines. The Soviets captured the Ar-232B-05 (K1+ZX).
