Jan - Deserves more looks than it's gotten so far, mine's only the 2nd vote here (5-4-4). Question: Is this "Lap-Band" surgery the same as that "Stapling" procedure I've heard about in the past? I knew someone who had that done about 35 years ago and wonder if it's the same thing. Well, way past my bed-time for sure now...'nite all...
No, the lap-band is fairly new. Less invasive, reversible, and adjustable. My friend is doing great with it.
