The Lyrics

Written after hearing Trump's recent rally was "heavy on the Elton John music". I figure this might be what Trump's message to his followers would be if he were capable of speaking in coherent sentences using more than a four-year-old's vocabulary, and without whining like a pathetic little baby about all the (oh so very) many things he doesn't like.
[Trump, musing before speaking to the crowd]
I never thought MAGAs essential
They're crude and remarkably dumb
But threats I face are existential
I have to try not to succumb

[Trump, to the crowd]
I know that your powers of detection
Don't make you the world's greatest sleuth
When I say that I won the election
You believe that I'm speaking the truth

It's clear that the voters' rejection
Is proof that the system was hacked
You failed with our first insurrection
The next one must come out intact

So prepare for re-inauguration
Be prepared for results overturned
As cometh the hour
When I'll be in power
I'll get restitution
(Avoid prosecution)
Forget the Corona
And watch Arizona
I'll get what I truly deserve
With reason and logic impaired
Be prepared!

[MAGA Crowd]
It's great that he'll be reinstated
The election was obvious fraud
[Trump]
Of course, I hope you've all donated
My expenses cannot be ignored
The future is littered with prizes
The big one: the Presidency
The point of my great many lies is:
It's all got to happen for me!

So prepare for Don J and his cuck coup
Be prepared for the dodgiest ruse
When all that you hear is
Conspiracy theories
Repeated denial
That I'll be on trial
No longer rejected
In power, re-elected
To show the world I did not lose
Yes, winner and results re-declared
Be prepared!
Yes, winner and results re-declared
Be prepared!

I couldn't remember the OS without a refresher, but it's a great choice to highlight what's-his-name's conspiratorial attempts at grabbing power. Pacing is straight and true and many of the rhymes are quite good: prizes/lies is and the best use of dumb/succumb since The Mikado. Nice job.

:-) Thanks, John - The OS is my favourite Elton John song by a long way & it did seem rather apt

The Mikado? :-D ...I think it might go something like this:
Well, I bet Trump would marry Yum-Yum (Yum-Yum)
He's rich and she's pretty
Although he's a git, he
Will think he can make her succumb (come, come)
With major expressions of glee

It's a shame that he's really that dumb (dumb, dumb)
He'd watch her for hours
Wanting golden showers
Of dignity nary a crumb (crumb, crumb)
Losing all vestige of sanity

etc
