The Lyrics

Tantric Tuesday

Six days I have waited
For my Goddess to came and visit me
Now my kundalini’s rising
And I know that soon…Shakti I’ll see
So I meditate
Until I feel a buzz in my head
These are the nights
That you’re glad you put clean sheets on the bed

It's just another Tantric Tuesday
It’s my “I can’t lose” day
It’s “no refuse” day
Me alone with my Muse day
I’m glad it’s finally Tantric Tuesday

I do not mean to excite
This is not some one-night-stand
Yes, it’s an ancient-secret rite
Though a “happy ending” is planned
It’s a way to connect
With the universe… here, two become one
But I never knew
That religion was so much fun

She’s just arrived on Tantric Tuesday
A “faith you can use” day
A “spread’s good news” day
It’s the “path that I choose” day
She’s lookin’ good on Tantric Tuesday

Way of the left
That’s why in Latin “sinister” means left
In those days
Sanskrit translation means “to extend”
Extending now
Her seven veils are looking hot
She say’s, “Shiva…show me what ‘cha got”

Our sacred embrace
Big smile on my face

Tomorrow will be Wiccan Wednesday
A “witch recommends” day
“The Craft” transcends day
Life by nature depends day
The next day will be Wiccan Wednesday

I love pagan fun days
My all are one days
Next week I’ll start with Magic Monday

Terrific -- "a 'religion you can use' day" beats another self-abuse day ... well, any day. :-)

Dude.... I want to join this religion! You actually have to have sex in order to please the church... That's awesome!!! And I also wouldn't mind combining Tantric and Wiccan in order to get with that goth chick from "The Craft".

(Artistry) Great concept, just be careful of Moonie Monday.

(Artistry) Interesting, to say the least. I'm not a fan of religious-based parodies, and I'm slightly annoyed that you used the same 'Monday' end-gag that I did.

(art) well, of course my favourite day is "Fridge Pengwednesday" - great idea for a take on the OS title IB, and some very clever gags tucked into this - 555

(Artistry) I am in awe at the rhyme scheme you did here IB, you caught every rhyme. As a huge fan of this particular band, it has been to my dismay that most people miss the rhyme scheme in here, you did it perfectly. I loved the religious pokes, and it was somewhat unbiased in it's comedic end, something that's not easy to do with religious parodies (In fact, the typical radio listener probably wouldn't even realize it's religious). . .I don't think this took to the juggular in humor like Kristof or Stu necessarily, but the subtle comedy was very well done, and very much appreciated.
