Parody Song Title:

"Ballad of Mike Teavee"

Parody Written by:

raddog20002002

This is my 7th Wonka parody of a song from "Ammonia Avenue." This is when the Oompa Loompas sings this song about Mike after he gets shrunk to three inches tall and ends up inside of the TV. The Oompa Loompas sing the song inside the TV while the channels change.
(The music begins with an Oompa Loompa on the news channel.)

Mike's on television
Mike's words always cause us confusion
Mike plays with his Playstation
Well, Mike Teavee's obsessed with television

Well, we cannot believe our eyes Mike's on this TV
Mike Teavee's brain is fried from too much TV

Mike pays no attention
Mike has miscommunication
Mike has poor education
Mike Teavee's stuck on imagination

Well, we know Mike wastes his time watching too much TV
Mike never tasted any of our candy

And we know Mike's just a young boy
From Denver, Colorado
He'll be rejected from this factory

Mike's head is stuck on fantasy
Mike must face reality
After he gets out of this factory

Mike makes bad decisions
Mike's head is on fatal attraction
Mike's head is in severe condition
After all those shows on the television

Well, that Mike Teavee never tries to read a book
We can see it through his eyes that he's been hooked

And he's the fourth kid to go down
Losing in this factory
He will never go home with some candy

Now that he is three inches tall
He won't return to normal
But we'll stretch him up like taffy

Well, we cannot believe our eyes Mike's on this TV
Mike Teavee's brain is fried from too much TV...............
One more Wonka song to go and this Wonka album will be completed.

This tells all about ol' Mike Teavee. I really like the version of Mike Teavee better in the 70's version of Willy Wonka. The first time I saw Mike in the newer version of the movie, that freaked me out at first when he's always getting attacked, though he did deserve it. Anyways, I'm glued to your parody, just like TV and video games! It's so good that 555% of my brain cells are being depleted! It's all good! Good luck! You're one step away from completing your Wonka parody album!

DKTOS, but a great parody! Mike Teavee was a lot more.... demented when you first see him in the new version of Willy Wonka. "DIE! DIE! DIE!" was his first line in the remake. 555s, and to quote Mike from the 1970s version of Wonka, "Wait till the boys back home hear about this!" I think that's the quote.
