The Lyrics

I am sure that you all know that joke that goes "When she sits "around" the house she sits "around" the house" well here is a parody based on that very same idea.... Enjoy! ;-)
Ah, watch out, she might go through the floor
Heavyweight, but, she’ll get heavier
She’s an overweight housewife
Sitting round the house

She tips, and she breaks every scale
Ground cracks, when she goes and gets the mail
You can’t tell how much she weighs
Sitting round the house

Understudy, for a blimp
Time to abandon the ship
Just men and children are first
She’ll cause a, big tsunami
She ate a roll of salami
Detroit has less tires

Ah, all fat, she, weighs as much as a jet
Takes one, hour to go around her body
She farts at sixteen megatons
Sitting round the house

Ah, it was once upon a time
She used to be a real thin girl
She will come in first place
In a pie eating contest
And, well, what did you expect?
Look out she’s going to blow!
Ah

Sitting round the house

My house, s’out of all livable space
That’s right, don’t want to meet nobody
Sure thing she can’t see down past her feet
Sitting round the house

Roof has got no means of support
And it’s the biggest house in town
Nothing holds together
And I don’t know what to expect
The roof just might come crashing down
Fighting food with food
Ah

[Instrumental and fade....]

Nice work and nice song choice for spoofing. I really like the blimp understudy and the Detroit has less tires lines...nice work!

She weighed over 555 lbs. No really, she could easily clog the black hole. Come to think of it, if she jumps, the whole world would turn inside out.

(SOTM) Awesomely funny, and fits the OS like a glove. The only thing I noticed were soem pacing stumbles, for instance: The first line of the song is, "Ah, watch out, you might get what you're after", which is 10 syllables, your's was "Ah, watch out, she might go through the floor", which is only 9. There were a handfull of lines like that usually only off by 1 syllable too many or less. Other than that, great job! 455

(SOTM) A few pacing mishaps but otherwise this was great! A lot of great lines in here, one of your best! 555!

Very funny take on this, Wild Child. Especially liked the 'tsunami/salami' couplet
