The Lyrics

Route 22 through my neck of the woods is a certain driveable wreck that seriously needs an overhaul. I thought of this after my co-worker had an at-fault accident on Rt. 22, and she's out a lot of cash. Now I debate about driving it. (Although changing my mind is highly unlikely.) By the way, I-78 is sung as "I Seventy Eight".
Right now I know I have to
Drive away
and I will get away
From the pain of driving on the road with me
The drives I've seen to lead nowhere
And I've missed my turn
For I drive and drive till I get so burned

Once I drove on you
Now I drive off of you
Route 22 has given
I gave it all my car could give it
Take my keys and a piece of my mind
Twenty-Two, oh, Twenty-Two

Don't drive me please, I do not know if it's of ease
You always made me such so late
Now I'm driving on I-78!
Twenty-Two (x4)
Drive me baby, Twenty-Two (x2)
Twenty-Two (x3)

(Car speeds up, crashes as song fades)
