Parody Song Title:
"I Can't Wear Wool"
The Lyrics
I have sweaters of alpaca made in 1965
There are tweeds that should be mended
Because moths have claimed their prize
They are all made of a fiber, some are dyed as black as coal
When they touch my epidermis, they do irritate it so
Now they shear it off an animal
Sometimes they even bleat
But you know I itch behind the wool of sheep
Well there's fleece that's shorn and scoured and then spun out in a loom
I would store them in my dresser
But I've just run out of room
Now I can't afford Merino though it's softer in the end
So instead I wear synthetics, even through I could wear hemp
Now they shear it off an animal
Sometimes they even bleat
But you know I itch behind the wool of sheep
Now the coarser wool's unwearable so it's used to make rugs
But the sweaters are unbearable
If you wear one, we can't hug
Now you know it makes me itchy, and the yarn I must avoid
And if you get me a woolen gift, you know I'll be annoyed
Now they shear it off an animal
Sometimes they even bleat
But you know I itch behind the wool of sheep
Behind the wool of sheep
Behind the wool of sheep
Behind the wool of sheep
