It was 29 years ago this month that Sega introduced a video game mascot who would change history forever. Because of this, I'm declaring this month "Sonic the Hedgehog Month" at AmIRight! For my first parody, I decided I'd poke some gentle fun at people who make Sonic fan art, especially those who take the regular characters and recolor them in an attempt to pass them off as "original characters" (OCs for short). Enjoy the parody! DKTOS?
I’ve seen a bunch of cats and dogs
All over the world, some as green as frogs.
Now there’s so many red echidnas,
A million bees that make the same buzz.

Now, so many bats are colored black,
They never thought about the colors that they lacked.
And you can analyze those yellow giraffes,
To me, it’s all just really not good for laughs.
