Parody Song Title:

"Eat Your Lunch"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Eat your lunch, my darlings, eat your lunch
No more talking, let me hear you munch
I know you don't like what you getti
Mama's own home-made spaghetti
But eat your lunch until your plate is clean

I know my pasta looks a little wrong
It's nearly half as wide as it is long
OK, so there's no disputin'
It's more than three quarters gluten
And chewier than snails, or King Kong

Eat your lunch, my darlings, eat your lunch
I love to hear that uncooked pasta crunch
The sauce is red, and makes you retch up
Just 'cause it's made out of ketchup
Please eat your lunch until your plate is clean

Even though you've been so very long
The mealtime drags on and on and on
You complain that it smells fishy
To me that's only a cliché
Darlings, please ignore that fishy pong

Mangi il vostro pranzo, mangilo
L'alimento č caldo, bene, quasi
Cosė, riempia la vostra pancia
Che cosa rima? Sancho Panza?
Mangi il vostro pranzo, per favore

(La la-la la-la la-la la-la) Sto andando pazzo
(La-la la-la la-la la-la la-la) Now EAT!!!
You'll end up unfed and thinner
If you will not eat your dinner
Dears, I said ignore that stinky pong

Eat your lunch, my darlings, eat your lunch
(Oh, do we *have* to?)
I'll give in, I think you have a hunch
(Can we have chips please?)
As Al Fayed often says: "Fug it"
If I do some chicken nuggets
Will you eat until your plate is clean?
As it will be immediately obvious to anyone who does, I do not speak Italian: the verse in Italian was all google translated, to scan and rhyme (that's "rhyme" in the tradition of Italian opera). Feel free to run it back through google and find out what it means :-)

thanks for the explanation re the Italian - I was prepared to be very impressed - fug it and nugget, and retch up and ketchup made me laugh - I love a good self-consciously contrived rhyme - 555
