I am a fan of Star Trek TOS/TNG/ENT and most of the movies, especially J.J. Abrams remaking of the series. TY for your work. Can you do a parody with BSG or Firefly??? Universal BTW still owns the rights on the iriginal BSG and is contemplating a new movie for the big-screen that would follow the 1970s vision and take it into the 1980s. A brief comic series did that and it was way cool. The Galactica made it to earth and was shot down over D.C. by missiles. The Galacticans as it turns out speak Hebrew as the original language and there is a confrointation between US troops and the Galacticans followed by a threatened WW3 with Russia and then the Cylons arrive in the middle!!! Very intriguing material. I myself have 3 Star Wars independent novels I have written for personal use They are 30 chapters each and are pre-25,000 BBY.
(Artistry) Very funny stuff here! I liked the back and forth between The Original Series and The Next Generation. The only qualm I have is that When you would use, "Where no one... has gone... before" because that's 7 syllables and the OS only has 6. If you say it the exact right way you can make it fit, but it throws of the pacing just a bit, it's a little awkward from a recording perspective (which is how I look at all parodies). You would have to say "where" on a down beat, it just sounds weird in a recording. Other than that, great job!
Yeah, you got it right. That 'where' comes on the downbeat. It does sound weird...but it was my hope you'd be too busy laughing at Kirk trying to score...
(Artistry) I see what Blaydeman is talking about...if it was formatted a bit differently, it would have been easier to follow. Putting the alternating male/female lines in parantheses instead of quote marks would have helped as well. But once I got the hang of it, it rocked, particularly in the cool rhymes for Tribbles, Sulu & Whorf!
Great parody, you really got the word pacings just right. I also like how you toss in some names, too. I've seen the U.S. Navy's U.S.S. Enterprise ("the Big E") in Alameda, California. I've also met George Takei (Mr. Sulu), Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi), Scotty (James Doohan, R.I.P.) and James Tiberius Kirk himself (William Shatner). What a thrill, and what a great parody! Live long and prosper.

I never really got into the Star Trek TV shows or movies so this one didn't really appeal to me but I can appreciate the hard work that went into this one.
(Artistry) I got more of the references than I expected to here, given that I've never watched a single ep of Star Trek ever. I blame TV Tropes and Linkara. Great idea for a parody and very well executed, barring a few pacing quibbles. I'm a doctor, not a parodist, Jim! He needs 555, stat!
