| Parody Song Title: | "Canada" |
| Parody Written by: | Tim Hall |
Way
America's lost its way
It had its day
There is a lot to say
Say
Rights are being betrayed
Keep self-esteem
We still have a dream
Seniors tired of high drug costs
They're coming up to Canada
Health care is free for all
They're coming up to Canada
Crime, don't it seem so far away
Oh, we're traveling to Cuba
Because it is legal
For all Canadians
No more contradictory laws
Let's expose, America's flaws
Gun control is the law
Gun control is the law
Everywhere in the U.S.
They're coming up to Canada
Same sex couples getting hitched
They're coming up to Canada
No felonious pot laws
They're coming up to Canada
Got a dream that is revived
They're coming up to Canada
They're coming up to Canada
They're coming up to Canada
They're coming up to Canada
They're coming up to Canada
Today, today, today, today, today
Our true and native land
Today
We stand on guard for thee
Today
O Canada
Today
O Canada
Today
America's lost its way
It had its day
There is a lot to say
Say
Rights are being betrayed
Keep self-esteem
We still have a dream
Seniors tired of high drug costs
They're coming up to Canada
Health care is free for all
They're coming up to Canada
Crime, don't it seem so far away
Oh, we're traveling to Cuba

Gun control is the law
Everywhere in the U.S.
They're coming up to Canada

They're coming up to Canada
Got a dream that is revived
They're coming up to Canada
They're coming up to Canada
They're coming up to Canada
They're coming up to Canada
They're coming up to Canada
Today, today, today, today, today
Our true and native land
Today
We stand on guard for thee
Today
O Canada
Today
O Canada
Today

how dare you say canada, YUCK
Well done, Tim - you raise a lot of good issues. I agree with your point about pot - the US "war on drugs" creates more problems than it solves, and Canada has slightly more reasonable laws than we do. I think that your point on health care is backwards, though. More Canadians come to the US because of health care shortages and long waits for surgeries than there are Americans going to Canada for free drugs.
As they say in Canada...He shoots, he scores! (Or, as they say in Quebec, "Très bien fait, monsieur.") Somebody get this man two dozen Tim Hortons and a case of Moosehead, eh!
Agree with your comment, Ol John!
I love this song! I'm a Canadian myself, and I LOVE this country! AND TO THAT GUY WHO SAID , how dare you say canada, YUCK! You OFFENDED me that disgraceful comment about my country, and I AM NOT IMMPRESSED WITH THAT! Wherever you are from, YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON GREAT THINGS ! HELLO!? And to the author, keep making good parodies!
Read the news stories! More seniors are coming up to Canada for cheaper prescription drugs than ever!
And STAY there!!
Exchange rate of the Canadian dollar to the US dollar = 1.02 Canadian dollars for one American dollar
Come into Canada? I would if Ron Wood. Or is that Ron did?
