I came across this site a week ago, and I must say, after reading these horrible rumors about me in the form of a song, I feel as if I am deeply cut emotionally. You see, I played Barney on the tv series, and I certainly do not appriciate how kids these days will say anything to be fuuny. I do not think it's funny at all. I do not smoke anything, and actually, never have. I am an honest, caring man, who enjoys making people happy, specifically children. I was a child once. I had a horrible childhood, and am only trying to ensure that the poor, innocent children of America today do not suffer the same fate I did as a child. I agreed to be Barmey because I felt I could become a role model for young kids. Someone to look up to, to have fun with, to be friends with. How do you think the children will react when they hear such horrible things said about me? It's utterly ridiculous, and I would like it to stop. I'd also appriciate an apology. I give your parody 1s on everything. It isn't funny to me, and I'm sure it won't be the least bit funny when people at school start singing this at school and other children begin to doubt their role model. Think of the children! I thought it was bad. Never, not once in the last few years, have I read such a terrible parody about a character whom I otherwise feel too old to watch. I remember I once liked 'Mr. Rogers' Neigborhood,' and even though I no longer watch it, I liked it for some reason even though I was a teen when I was watching it.
Oh, and to you Jim, the guy who played Barney the Dinosaur, I'm with you. I don't see how talking about smoking crack and offending people could be considered hilarious 'South Park'-style.
