Original Song Title:

"No More Mister Nice Guy"

Original Performer:

Megadeth

Parody Song Title:

"No More Mister Jedi"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Megadeth covered this Alice Cooper song for the soundtrack to Wes Craven's movie "Shocker". (It's also on the "Hidden Treasures" album). As I'm trying to show here they could have done it again for "Revenge of the Sith".
No more Mister Jedi
Me, a Jedi, Yeah Right!

I used to be such a Dudley Do-Right
'Til Siths got hold of me
I opened doors for little old Yoda
I helped Naboo be free

I've got no friends and a real bad draper
You can't be seen with me
And I'm havin' such a frown 'cos I've lost a queen

No more Mister Jedi
No more little Ana-ke-en
No more Mister Jedi
(He's Sith, He's like Pal-pa-tine)

I'm not the chosen one no more, Ha - I'm impossible

I've got no friends 'cos they're all now vapor
They can't be forced no more
And I'm gettin' bad renown, and I'm half machine

No more Mister Jedi
No more little Ana-ke-en
No more Mister Jedi
(He's Sith, He's like Pal-pa-tine)

R2 sparked me on the leg today
I did choke out my wife
Yoda's been thrown out of the acad'my, lurkin'
My kids they did hide
I went back home incognito
And everybody died
The emp'ror Sith he vitalized me
Bunched me I suppose

He said: No more - Jedi!

No more Mister Jedi
No more little Ana-ke-en
No more Mister Jedi
(He's Sith, He's like Pal-pa-tine)

No more Mister Jedi
No more little Ana-ke-en
No more Mister Jedi
(He's Sith, He's like Pal-pa-tine)

Naturally, I was never nice in the first place, although Aaargh!

I know TOS - as in the Alice Cooper version. (Getting as old as Yoda, I appear to be.)

I only know the Alice Cooper version, too (having seen Megadeth live at Donington, I'd not be buying any of their records ;-) )... this is good, Peter.

Steve: I contemplated hunting down the AC version for you all but since I do own ”Hidden treasures” (8 covers from 6 movies and 2 tributes) it got to be that one.

Phil: Megadeth live is an orgie in guitar solo m*st*rb*tion hardly worth the ticket but the albums are very varied. “Cryptic writings” from 1997 and “Risk” from 1999 are the albums that Metallica ought to have done after the black album, sort of a revenge for Dave whos contributions to early Metallica were much bigger than he ever got credit for. The last album “The system has failed” is not that good though.

Rick C: Didn’t you say that just the other day too…? 

Dee, Jeff and Michael: Thanx!
