last night i dreamt of some bagles
just like i'd never ate, i knew the taste
a young girl whose eyes like the donut
It all seems like yesterday i ate them all

there's more than one variety
pastry's what i long to eat

I fell in love with some bagels
The warm scent carried to my nose, pastry called to me
the bagels they wanted me
I prayed that the taste would last
