Note that I don't mean anything personal to anybody who attends science conventions, this is simply a parody I wrote, no harm intended.
Went to a convention
A Science Fair in Ohio
There was some guy talking on a stand
A nerdy looking man, with a test tube in his hand
Saying "Always experiment when you can"
Then I let out a squeal
Couldn't believe this was real
"There are nerds everywhere," I did say
There were so many big words and test tubes, I could keel
They'd say "Periodic tables we obey"
It's Dork City... It's Dork City... It's Dork City...
Go away, you dork!
Go away, you dork!
I don't belong in this committee
I look at them with pity
I mustn't be seen with this clan!
My friends would frown
As spread the news around
About how they saw me with this nerdy, wordy clan!
As I watched those dorks act snooty
I just thought "Boy, they're fruity!"
How they say "Einstein is our man!"
Better get out my repellant so I don't get cooties
Now I'm losing my attention span
It's Dork City... It's Dork City... It's Dork City...

Well and then it did get really scary
As I became somewhat wary
A guy asked if he could test his potion on me!
A thought formed in my mind
If I drank it, what would I find?
I knew I had to get out of there quickly!
"Why are you running from us?"
"We don't fuss, we don't cuss!"
But I didn't hear any more after that....
And there's one thing I've learned here:
Stay away from the queer!
Just stay home and have yourself a beer!
