Then I saw that Pittsburgh was having tryouts

I had to read my almanac
To see what material I would be up against
Jeopardy!
Is my favorite TV show

I signed up for the audition
They invited me to be part of the search
Something crept into my mind
It was "I don't know if I'm going to pass"
But sure enough, I passed the test
Then went on to play the mock game
Jeopardy!
Will be my game of fame and fourtune

Why couldn't you have purchased a Dodge Viper?

Weeks passed after the audition
Then I got a call from the powers that be
Telling me the following:
"You're going to be a contestant!"
For the next five weeks
I read my entire almanac

I'm ready to win lots of money

After each show was taped
I rushed off stage to change my clothes
