I'm sitting in my classroom when the bell begins to ring
Reflecting the the past week, and the horrors it did bring
But a three-o clock, they let us out, we're free to go
The whole damn week seemed, so very slow.... So very slow

When the teach comes to read me the lesson
All the answers I give, I just get from guessin'
The hours just drag on and on for me
Could it be that there's some sort of way out?
I've had to wait and drag this whole day out
When is the weekend, when will the bell ring?

Somebody tell me the week is ended
My whole damn brain feels like it's bended
The clock is ticking, to end this week
Words flow, but why am I trying?
I don't have a clue about multiplying
Don't believe there never is a weekend

As teachers march me through my math test
A student cries from his seat "I need some help"
If you need help, than why aren't you in Special Ed?
As he talks, all the time drifts before me
Though the class is short, it still bores me
Let me go I'm waiting to run away

Mark out words in an English story
Don't worry now tha6t I've gone to seek the bus
I'm going home for the weekend
When you know that the weekend's nearer
Maybe then you begin to understand
That life in school is just a strange illusion
