Song Parodies -> "Plame"

Original Song Title:

"Fame"

Original Performer:

Irene Cara

Parody Song Title:

"Plame"

Parody Written by:

Max Power

The Lyrics

Written on Plame's point of view.
Novak look at me
Just tell me what you wrote
What have you just done to me now
Give it time I'll still won't forget that day

I got ratted out
That truth won't set me free
I can catch lightnings in a jar
You told them who I am

You all know my name
Plame

Infamy lives forever
I can believe I can fly
Try

I saw it written together
People will read it and shout
Plame

I'm gonna live my life in fear
Make sure my life isn't lame
Plame

I'm gonna hide forever
You all know my name

Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember

Why'd you rat me out
So you can be famous
You had shot me down to the pit
Give it time and I'll still won't forget this

Novak, you're not tough
The world is not enough
I'll strangle you 'till you die
Ooo I got life to live

Plame
Infamy lives forever
I can believe I can fly
Try

I saw it written together
People will read it and shout
Plame

I'm gonna live my life in fear
Make sure my life isn't lame
Plame

I'm gonna hide forever
You all know my name

Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember
Remember

Plame
Infamy lives forever
I can believe I can fly
Try

I saw it written together
People will read it and shout
Plame

I'm gonna live my life in fear
Make sure my life isn't lame
Plame

I'm gonna hide forever
You all know my name

Remember

Remember my name

Plame
Infamy lives forever
I can believe I can fly

I saw it written together
People will read it and shout
Plame

I'm gonna live my life in fear
Make sure my life isn't lame
Plame

I'm gonna hide forever
You all know my name

Plame
Infamy lives forever
I can believe I can fly

I saw it written together
People will read it and shout
Plame

Another hit-and-run 1 voter.

Perhaps its the title of your parody Max. At first I thought it said 'Plane' but on closer inspection it reads 'Plame'. At first I thought it was a spelling error until I read the whole parody, where 'Plame' also crops up. I DKTOS the original song so I didn't vote, but perhaps the title of this had something to do with the 111 vote.

Could've been another one of those who are political sensitive.

Well, I do know the OS as it was my challenge. . .and I'm not terribly politically sensitive, very good job--especially considering this song isn't the easiest of disco epics to parody. . .good job.

This doesn't really rhyme, except in the corus, other then that, it's not bad.
