Very original, Tim - I suspect fowl play. Lovely plumage, though, the Norwegian Blue ;-)
The Monty Python Boys would be proud. Or was that Peter Cook? No, that was The Frog and the Peach.
Those are absolutley horrible lyrics, and just a rotten poem about abusing a bird. Obviously this person has been around a bird that is being horribly ignored and abused. If this person still has this bird, I suggest they give it away to a shelter right away. I personally think its pretty sick.
Jen, I have traced it back, with the help of my psychiatrist, to the talk about the birds and the bees. Maybe I was too young, maybe I was too recently stung, but it resulted in a trauma I haven't recovered from.
