Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Down on the field there is violence,
Not so many calls could be wrong.
We went upstairs to by hotdogs,
And I never bring enough Tums, oh no!

We shouldn't go up to Dyspeptic Avenue,
The price is always higher.
But, oh God, we went up to Dyspeptic Avenue,
And our stomachs are on fire!

Payin' so much for a ticket,
Can't afford a thing that they sell.
Deep in my pockets they're reachin',
Can't get food for my kids, oh, well....

We shouldn't go up to Dyspeptic Avenue,
The price is always higher.
But, oh God, we went up to Dyspeptic Avenue,
And our stomachs are on fire!

Who is to blame in this ballpark?
Never can make a good bun.
Prices in bigtime inflation,
And they still can't feed everyone, oh no!

We shouldn't go up to Dyspeptic Avenue,
The price is always higher.
But, oh God, we went up to Dyspeptic Avenue,
And our stomachs are on fire.

Barf in the stands...
Barf in the stands...
Up in the bleachers...
Barfin' beer all around...

We shouldn't go up to Dyspeptic Avenue,
The price is always higher.
But, oh God, we went up to Dyspeptic Avenue,
And our stomachs are on fire.

Acid on the North Side...
Gas on the South Side...

Loved it, I wouldve loved to see a sub for the "Oh no!"''s and maybe more chorus subs, still great

(AGES) All by itself is pretty funny, 555. For the Ages Comp. however, the sports theme is pretty reaching (as is my parody ; )). Of course, I will read the others before passing judgment.

(Ages) Very funny. As a season-ticket holder for a 555 college football team, I feel your pain (and yet I laugh anyway).

(AGES) Why is it that I swear I've read this one before by you, but I apparently didn't because my vote counted and I have no comment. Anyway. . .Pretty good all around, There did appear to be a chorus missing, but then that's easy to do in a song that revolves around the chorus. The prices of food at ball parks have gone absolutely insane. . . .

(AGES) Don't get it, but I could SWEAR I've seen this before, and it looks pretty well done.

It would have been better with diffrent choruses rather than the same one over and over again. But all in all not a bad parody at all.

See above, and I second Matthias's comment, like I had differnet lyrics for every verse in mine. and Bobpie ; Thinking of MY parody?

Michael - I took your request and viewed this. Some great lines esp, liked the barf part. Well done sir. Isn't it a fun song to parody? I tossed my fives on this.
