The Lyrics

Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Vey

See me hang out in my basement
With some really geeky teens
I am a super powered Cleric
Have a clue what I mean?
Wolfmen to the left of me
And Wolfmen to the right
Do I got a gun?
Let's roll that dice
Before I start to fight

Cause it's D&D
A dork's delight
I'll attack your knight
You're in my abode
Spells I download

I'm nerdy Eugene, a worthless teen
I'm a Star Wars fan
Dungeon Masterly number one
In this clan
So roll for your powers
Roll for your lives
Will you kill that ogre?
I'll roll for the fight
Fear this game I found
My mage will bring you down

Cause it's D&D
A Dork's Delight
Only time I'll fight
Got a spell to decode
What have I rolled?

(Solo while two geeks go into battle)

Fight! Fight! Fight!
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Fight! Fight! Fight!

A dork's delight
Rules I'll recite
We'll swear an ode
Watch me forebode

(Another hard-core nerd solo)

5's for making me feel like less of a dork.

5s despite that I feel like more of a dork now having played EQ and even dorkier for having played D&D for a time. I still have those dice on my desk, the 4,6,8,10,12 and 20 siders.

Thankfully, I grew out of that phase a long time ago and started making parodies.

Fantastic! I had my kids singing along. Between gaming sessions. Of course... it's always either between a gaming session... or IN one. ;)

Great nerd humor you got there! Dungeons and Dragons is a cool game, though I never got to win it awhile back! Fight on some 5's!

Dorky've come quite a ways from 5 years ago, Matty. :) The song length and form doesn't really allow for much humor, though the "Fight Fight" bridge works well for the topic.

Your Star Wars reference in the parody started me thinking of Star Wars as D&D -- "let's see, you rolled 19, that means...Darth Vader's your father!"

Well, you know a secret about this one others don't, so you know I have at least some level of respect for it:P

I can't help but like this one. Makes me want to put on the wizard robes again!

(Artistry) Good thing I know about some D&D terms thanks to Order of the Stick and TV Tropes, otherwise I'd just think of Risk with all this dice rolling business. A couple of pacing issues, but forgiveable due to Bon Scott's singing style being kinda hard to understand. A +555 sword for you!
