Parody Song Title:

"Shaggin' is Fine"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Planking is ratty - a floor's hard lay
Flanks they need padding as age goes grey
Our big throw rug's painful - it's threadbare time
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)

For snog bum needs table covers
Nice soft cushions for hearthside lovers
My elbow is in pain - this rug burn's a grind
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)

Feels sublime
Shag carpeting eased my hind
Wool berber makes love fine
No splinters of wood, pine
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)

Nothing you see to cause me irrits
Just snuggling with thee when you done bare it
Tarzan I am and you're Jane and we'll do just fine
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)

Feels sublime
Shag carpeting eased my hind
Wool berber makes love fine
No splinters of wood, pine
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)
Shag it is fine
(Shaggin' is fine)

Lay lay lay lay lay lay lay lay lay
(Shaggin' is fine)
Lay lay lay lay lay lay lay lay lay
(Shaggin' is fine)
Lay lay lay lay lay lay lay lay lay lay
(Shaggin' is fine)

I got this image of a shaggy behind when reading this. Excellent parody. Well done.

Good job, y'all. Let's just not think of Shaggy from Scooby-doo. Oops.

Wow, great job, M & P ! 5's! If Charles Grosvenor was Sir Charles Grosvenor of London, UK, this would never have passed the censor - or would it ?

Johnny - I was wondering the same thing! I think the double entendre rendered it presentable, tho'... ;-)

I was expecting the more lewd meaning -- naturally -- but the 2-ent was a nice "touch", so to speak. ;) ... Did you ever see the episode of "House, M. D." in which a woman has a rash on her rear, and he diagnoses it as rug burns from sleepwalking into her ex's apartment downstairs and engaging in sexsomnia?
Meriadoc - October 02, 2012 - Report this comment
I suspect you have a Shaggin' Ovine in there somewhere.. ;)
Tommy Turtle - October 02, 2012 - Report this comment
Not fond of TOS, so "Sheep Care, Ovine" (Sweet Caroline) and "Ovine Lovin' " (Oklahoma!) will probably be enough titles with "ovine". Good idea, though -- why don't ewe tewe have a go, so to speak? ;-D
