"Michael Told You (Who Would Win)"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Before, the Super Bowl, I told you the Giants would win, with the parody "Eli's Coming." Might as well do the I-told-you-so sequel with another Three Dog Night song. His girlfriend, mentioned in the third verse, is supermodel Gisele Bundchen. I'm thinking "Gisele" is Brazilian for "Jessica."
Got an asterisk on record? A cheater do you be?
That's the kind of questions you'll be getting from me.
It's the craziest party the Patriots will ever see.
The Giants get trophy named for Vince Lombardi!

Michael told you who would win!
Michael told you who would win!
Now let the party begin!
Son!

Open up the pass-lanes, and give Eli some room.
The Patriots fans choking on the sense of impending doom.
And Tom Brady we are smoking, got him scared half to death.
Never gonna let that preening pretty boy catch his breath!

Michael told you who would win!
Michael told you who would win!
Now let the party begin!
Son!
Now let the party begin!

(instrumental break)

Brady has been blasted, he's shaken to the core!
I'm lookin' at his girlfriend, she's passed out on the floor!
The most embarrassing loss any football team's had before!
New England team lost -- now this year, let's have more!

Michael told you who would win!
Michael told you who would win!
Now let the party begin!
Son!
Now let the party begin!

Michael told you, Michael told you, Michael told you, Michael told you...
Michael told you, Michael told you, Michael told you, Michael told you...
Michael told you, Michael told you, Michael told you, Michael told you...
Michael told you, Michael told you, Michael told you, Michael told you...
Now let the party begin!
Now let the party begin!
Now let the party begin!
Now let the party begin!
That takes care of the Patriots... the Bruins ain't goin' nowhere... next comes the Celtics... and then... we take down the Sox. As Glenn Frey would say, "Oh-ho-whoa-ho, oh-ho-whoa-ho, tell me, can ya feel it, tell me, can ya feel it, tell me, can ya feel it?"

Yeah, that and two bucks will get me on the subway of the city (or at least the metro area) that won the Super Bowl.

You have my congratulations on the win. Your team clearly outplayed us. And...Bellichik's walking off when there was still time on the clock was unsportsmanlike and embarrassing.

And my pre-SB "Go Long, Plaxico" not only predicted the Giant's win, but specified the specific sealer of the Pats' fate. Har. Not planning an "I told you so" parody, but then none's needed given your excellent effort. 5s

"... next comes the Celtics... " Are you suggesting that a New York team is going to take care of the Celtics? This season? Now that would be an upset!

MP - I am glad to see the Giants pull this off. You must be feeling quite robust that your homies pulled it off. I like rooting for the underdog and that was the best darn superbowl in memory as I would opine. Sweet write and sweeter win. What better way to celebrate than in song parody.
