I don't get it -- is this supposed to be about slacks, khakis or corduroys? And if they're black khakis, can I still call them 'khakis'? And can I wear them with brown shoes, a brown belt and a red shirt? I'm so confused...

Well, we know who wears the pants in any of Arwen's relationships. And we know who she wishes wouldn't wear pants. I won't dock you a point for not knowing it was Bobby Freeman who first did it in 1958, but you should have known the Beach Boys did it in 1964... and even Bette Midler in a 1973 slow-burn version preceded the Ramones, who did everything fast, especially live fast, and wouldn't know a "slow burn" if it smacked 'em upside the head.
I still have some of my pants from the 80s, the funny thing is... they all have shrunk!
Mr. Pacholek...I know that the song has been done by a number of artists...and of course that it originated long before the Ramones covered it...but of all those artists...don't you think that the Ramones...(can you picture them in your mind, darling?)...fit best with the theme of my lyrics? Hmmmm? =)
