Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

"A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti." -- Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Sir Anthony Hopkins) to Agent Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster), "The Silence of the Lambs"
Ooh, my little pretty one.
My pretty one.
Makes me wanna try out a
nice chianti.

So, what makes your motor run
your motor run?
Tell me while I pour us a
nice chianti.

Never gonna stop, give it up.
Such a twisted mind.
I always fry it up
with a taste of the younger kind.
Ni-yi-yi-yi, whoo!

Ni-ni-ni-nice chianti!

Come a little closer, dear.
So closer, dear.
Tell me all about the the poor lamb
Miss Starling.

Keep a little mystery
away from me?
Don't you know that we are both damned
Miss Starling?

Never gonna stop, give it up.
Such a twisted mind.
I always fry it up
with a taste of the younger kind.
Ni-yi-yi-yi, whoo!

Ni-ni-ni-nice chianti!

Oooohhhhhhhh...

Gonna fry some fava beans
know what that means?
Gonna wash it down with some
nice chianti!

Don't you feel hunger, Clarice?
You know no peace.
Goes between my teeth and gums
nice chianti!

Never gonna stop, give it up.
Such a twisted mind.
I always fry it up
with a taste of the younger kind.
Ni-yi-yi-yi, whoo!

Ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni
Ni-yi-yi-yi, whoo!

Ni-ni-ni-nice chianti!
Ni-ni-ni-nice chianti!
Ni-ni-ni-nice chianti!
Ni-ni-ni-nice chianti!
I do wish we could chat longer, but I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye.

I did notice that I'm nipping at Guy's heels, but he's hardly my first priority. After all, I've got a lot on my plate.

Ahh...satisfying. A little scary how easily the tune came back to me. Remember the parody "Ayatollah" that came out? That was back when they'd actually play political parodies on top ten stations.

Quoting from Thomas Harris' book: "A census taker tried to quantify me once. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a big Amarone. Go back to school, little Starling." Wish the film had stuck to the book. A culture vulture like Lecter wouldn't be seen dead guzzling a common country wine plonk like Chianti. Amarone della Valpolicella is so much more like him.
