| Original Song Title: | "Rockin' Robin" |
| Original Performer: | The Jackson Five |
| Parody Song Title: | "Snoggin' Dobby" |
| Parody Written by: | Phil Alexander |
He knocks on the doors o' Hogwarts all night long
Hopin' for a gropin' and to dingle his dong
A-tryin' to a-slither in to each raven claw
Hufflin' and a-pufflin' ev'ry griffin' door
Chorus :
Snoggin' Dobby (kiss, kissety kiss)
Snoggin' Dobby (kiss, kissety kiss)
Eww.. snoggin' Dobby
'Cause he's hopin' for a snog tonight
Every magic student (ones who can't escape)
Snoggin' a Mcgonigle, or even a Snape
Not so much a person, looks more like a pet
Tell me, just how desperate can you get?
Chorus
Yee-uch (Then Benny Hill-style Music Break)
Dobby make advances, make 'em all recoil
Especially a Malfoy, and a Crabbe and a Goyle
He tried it on on Ron, so very weaselly
Through the Dumble-door on bended Hermio-knee
He knocks up the folks o' Hogwarts all day long
Pokin' and a-gropin' and a-slinging his shlong
But wizards should've known it ain't good for your health
Spending all the day a-playing with your elf
Chorus
Hopin' for a gropin' and to dingle his dong
A-tryin' to a-slither in to each raven claw
Hufflin' and a-pufflin' ev'ry griffin' door
Chorus :
Snoggin' Dobby (kiss, kissety kiss)
Snoggin' Dobby (kiss, kissety kiss)
Eww.. snoggin' Dobby

inspired lunacy
I wonder if there are any brothels in Hogwarts. 555!
Thanks, Alvin, but inspired by what I'd rather not say ;-)
Yoidy - the Weasleys. Oh... that's an "l", not "r" ;-)

LOVED IT! 5s
Sheesh, Phil are you on Pott ER something else? I don't know what made you think of this, but it surely wasn't a Dud...ley
A lot of the UK references were lost on this warm-water-dweller, but the parts I could understand were very funny. Three Jackson Fives, although OS was first done in 1958 by Bobby Day :)
This is just plain NUTS, Phil...loved it! More Potter Puns for your Pound. Bravo. 555+
(SOTM) This was brilliant. 555
(SOTM) See above Mr. Alexander, Sir
(SOTM) Oooh, nasty song written on the Dobby, must slap Phil Alexander, sir! (slap, slap!) :D
(SOTM) Not too familiar with Harry Potter, but it was a very interesting read. Good job.
SOTM-Good
this is wart this site is about a funny song, sung to the tune of another.now if i can just get this image out of my head!!!
Sorry, tomario - if it's any consolation, it took me days to get the mental image out of my brain...
Tommy/Michael C - it probably won't mean much if you've not read any of the HP books. My recommendation: if you like good magical fantasy, then read something else (anything by Terry Pratchett, for example), but if you're not really into reading, they could be just the books for you ;-)
Matthias - Couldn't have been a Dud-ley: even Dobby wouldn't sink that low.
Thanks everybody :-)

SOTM - Is it just me or is this song (TOS) a horrible ripoff off "Rock around the clock"? Whatever, you're stealing some 5s from my me.
(SOTM) What alvin said.(Deja Vu, ooo-OOO-OOO-ooo .... )
(SOTM) Pun meter has busted on this one. Great tilt on everyone's names.
(SOTM) What a great Harry Potter theme. . .Phil I'm getting used to your style by now. . .and I would leave a huge comment like I normally do. . .but you know what I think about your work
(SOTM) I just KNOW I'm missing out on something hilarious here Phil, coz it just dingle dongle sounds hilarious - alas I know nothing of Harry Potter - but 555 for the very catchy flow
SOTM - I gotta say, I haven't puked like that in AGES... 5-5-5
Stu - I knew it was a bit of a gamble, going with a Harry Potter-themed parody with a bucketload of in-jokes, but I have a weakness for puns (even my own), and this has more puns per square centimetre than almost any other I've written :-)
Peter - isn't nearly all rock 'n' roll?
JD - I'm sure I've seen that comment before...
More thanks, everybody :-)

(SOTM) I'm familiar enough with HP that I got a good many of the puns. If you even decide to make movie parodies along this line, "Horny Potter and the Sourcerer's Bone" would be a great title ("The Sourcerer" to "The Wanderer" would be good, too). Funny work, great ending with "playing with your elf".
SOTM - Molestation by CGI characters... how creepy can things get?
