"The Long Legs That Are Bowed"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

In 2005, to "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," I wrote "Oh My, Hell, Her Legs Bowed." Seeing Old Man Ribber's LAWR parody inspired me to revisit that topic.
The long legs that are bowed
they look
very sore.
Pain never disappears.
I've seen them bowed before.

I'll keep them waiting there
right outside my door.

The wild and crazy nights
that chick
brought to me
had left me full of fear
such depravity.

Why keep her lying there?
Awful sight to see.

Many times I've been alone
and many times I've cried.
There's no way I'll go on back
to bow-leg girl I tried.

And still she's on her back
but those long
legs, so bowed
I left her lying there
a long, long time ago.

I'll keep her lying there.
Walk right out her door.

(instrumental break)

And still she's on her back
but those long
legs, so bowed
I left her lying there
a long, long time ago!

I'll keep her lying there.
Walk right out her door!

Oy yi yi... yi...
