| Original Song Title: | "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby?" |
| Original Performer: | Rolling Stones |
| Parody Song Title: | "Have You Seen Dick Cheney, Baby?" |
| Parody Written by: | Charlie Decker |
Two years after the attacks on New York and Washington, Vice President Cheney still passes much of his time at an "Undisclosed location."
Have you seen Dick Cheney, baby? (Undisclosed location)
Noone seems to agree, baby (Undisclosed location)
Just where'd Dick Cheney go to hide?
A forest in Maine,
A steep mountainside...
Have you seen Dick Cheney, baby? (Undisclosed location)
Is it cold and rainy, baby? (Undisclosed location)
Where Dick Cheney's wasting our time?
He thinks to bad guys he is
A real target bona fide...
He'll make a bank run due to
His Halliburton, and
Where's his location? Secret location,
Find the location, here in this nation,
Cheney's vacation, determination to hide...
Have you seen Dick Cheney, baby? (Undisclosed location)
With the Lindbergh Baby, maybe (Undisclosed location)
Will he stay there for his whole life?
His company got a contract,
Iraq's oil is his war bride...
Have you seen Dick Cheney, baby? (Undisclosed location)
I'll make a guarantee, baby (Undisclosed location)
That he's got armed men by his side!
The whole free world at his hands
But he just hides and whines...
Noone seems to agree, baby (Undisclosed location)
Just where'd Dick Cheney go to hide?
A forest in Maine,
A steep mountainside...
Have you seen Dick Cheney, baby? (Undisclosed location)
Is it cold and rainy, baby? (Undisclosed location)
Where Dick Cheney's wasting our time?

I saw Dick Cheney on Meet the Press with Tim Russert. Doin' the Werewolves of Washington.
Charles Everett Decker? When did you get out? Pat Fitzgerald
Heh ,I should get around to reading Rage sometime... For now, I'll just keep working on my parodies. This is one of my better ones...
Wow, I'm glad this one has been so well recieved. It is probably my favorite that I've ever written!
Well, I enjoyed this (even being a bloody conservative) I gave you all fives b/c pacing was good, and humor was great. And also b/c, being one of the first AmI-Writers, I'm a pretty nice guy j/k good job
Very good parody, pity it couldn't be made longer
Damn, I wish I knew the original song. Funny stuff, Sgt. Decker. And Michaelopedia's comment made me laugh too.
Very hard song to parody and you did an excellent job. Oh, and if you do run into Dick, could you ask him to lower those oil prices, since he's got 'em in his pocket? Thanks!

(H) Looks like I've already restored my vote. Kinda figured I had... seeing as how this is one of my faves of yours. :)
(ABC05) Hee, hee. He's in the trunk of my motherinlaw's car.
(ABC05)Good job here, Charlie...5s
(G) DKTOS but I know you're a pacing nut and it is skillfully written. 5s.
(ABC) Dick Cheney's initials = D.C. Charlie Decker's initials = C.D. Coincidence? ;-)
Funny, hard-hitting satire, Charlie. Loved the Cheney/Lindburg baby rhyme especially. High 5's (H)
(H) yes, with the Lindbergh baby maybe, and the weapons of mass destruction maybe - nice job, Charlie
(ABC-H) I wonder why he hid in the first place.

Ha! Nice work once again, Charlie.
DKTOS, but funny...although I think he doubles as George on the Apprentice.
Darg... Don't Know This One. Funny read though, and my highlight was difinitiely: 'With the Lindbergh Baby, maybe'.
ABC--I don't know the original either...=( But this made me grin. =)
