The Lyrics

how do you make a hankie dance? put a little boogie in it
is this meringue?
is this a minuet?
what is this dance style?
was it quick step tsifteteli?
some are for guys...
but will they try on these???
four step watusi? sympathy recipe
but will they seem too stunned? would we know?
when they step..to and fro.
anyways, there's limbos, it doesn't really matter to me.. to me...

cha cha just killed a man.. wrapped his foot around his head,
tried the twist and now he's dead...
cha cha time had just been fun
but now it's gone and blown this guy away...
cha cha...oo-oo-oo-oo
not supposed to make you die
we'll do the bump and jive again tomorrow
carry on, carry on..
exercise won't make you fatter..

too late, hornpipe has come..
just shimmy with your spine, roll around you will be fine
halay everybody, you've got to know
gotta weave your small behind, and scrape your tooth
cha cha oo-oo-oo-oo
I don't wanna try...
I sometimes wish I never would dance at all

I see a little irish dance for a man,
try the loure try the loure, or just do the FANDANGO
moshing is too frightening, rhumba is enlightening eek!
do the tango (do the tango)
or the techno( or the techno)
try the two step or wolosso
do it right, magnifico..
just let it go-o-o-o-o-o-
I did the volte, nobody liked me
he did the volte, really quite horridly
try this again, or a quick odissi
shake your bum to and fro
do the bump, here we go
pachanga! NO! let's just sway to and fro
pachanga! NO! lets just sway to and fro
pachanga! NO! lets just sway to and fro
just sway to and fro ( let it go)
just sway to and fro ( let it go)
it never ever ever seems to go
no no no no no no no
the lavolta the lavolta, the lavolta makes me go
khasapiko is a dance we put aside for thee. for thee.. for theeeeeee

so you think you'll polonia and kiss us guys
so you think you can sashay and we will just sigh
oh baby, do the watusi baby
disco is so out, disco is way outta here

dancing really matters,
'specially to me
dancing really matters...
dancing really matters to me...

every time a song goes.......

sir Malcolm, thiis is a cute way to lmention all the dances . . . I prefer a 'slow dance' in the arms of a strong Cowboy: Elivis's ~DON'T~ is my favorite!

Excellent job of maintaining the dance theme while working in a lot of different styles and humor. Definitely near the top of the list of best Bo Rhap parodies.
