Parody Song Title:

"No Indictment For Rove"

Parody Written by:

And no requirement to rat on Tricky Dick II or anyone else, either. According to defense spokesman Mark Corallo, there are no conditions attached to this action, because "the special prosecutor found Mr. Rove to be a truthful and credible witness from the beginning." Imagine that, a Bushie being considered truthful! (Yeah, I know, it might be difficult for you lefties, but please try anyway.)
Scooter Libby charged with perjury
More of that's what the left wants to see
To bad for them it was not meant to be

No indictment for Rove
No indictment for Rove
No indictment for Rove
No indictment for Rove

Pete Fitzgerald is a driven man
We all wonder where he'll play his hand
Won't turn out like the lefties had planned

There's no indictment for Rove
No indictment for Rove
No indictment for Rove
No indictment for Rove

Libs thought Rove would have conditions to meet
In order for himself to be set free
Instead Fitz (Fitz) thinks Rove's without deceit
And was truthful in his testimony

No indictment for Rove
And there was no deal
No indictment for Rove
He won't have to squeal
No indictment for Rove
Proof of guilt just wasn't real
No indictment for Rove

OJ's also not guilty. Well-done commentary.

All this means is A) Fitzgerald is every bit as principled as Lawrence Walsh, and B) he's not as fanatical as Ken Starr. He may still help consign the Bush Maladministration to the dungheap of history where it belongs and, ironically, it may be due to a deal cut with a man named Libby.
