Fr. Peter Miqueli, the former parish priest at St. Frances de Chantal Church in the Bronx, is now being accused of embezzling $1 million in church money to pay for a gay S&M love affair, which included Fr. Miqueli becoming his boyfriend's "toilet slave". The priest also owned a huge mansion with a hot tub and dungeon in the basement. He also allegedly entertained interfaith fantasies of being humiliated in front of a devout "nice Jewish girl".

I always felt that the original song referred to something similar to this. Maybe Pope Francis will consider changing the rules for celibacy in the Western Rite. The priesthood used to be a "respectable" place for homosexuals to hide. They no longer need to stay in the closet, and the pedophiles and perverts are giving the priests who are faithful to their vows a bad name. By the way, how do you recruit a nice Jewish girl to bear witness to such a grotesque practice? I'd like to hear her side of the story.
