Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

A stinky followup to yesterday's Al Bundy salute.
Boy, I'm bored workin' this shoe store
It's really dumb to sell' em all used
From bowling halls and kid's locker stalls
They say no pair is ever refused

Price 'em low, and watch the fungus grow
We get 'em from the lost and found
We had Stan put in a ceiling fan
But it just blows the stink around

Smellin' (Smellin..)Smellin' heels
There ain't no other place gonna
Make these kind of deals
Smellin' (Smellin..)Smellin' heels
And this odor never gonna go 'way

On the shelves almost stack themselves
Wear a clothspin clamped to my nose
Spritz away with all the Lysol spray
But not a one smells like a rose

Shoppers come, they always turn and run
They don't want to linger inside
They can't lose with all these bargain shoes
But they think something has died

Smellin' (Smellin..)Smellin' heels
There ain't no other place gonna
Make these kind of deals
Smellin' (Smellin..)Smellin' heels
And this odor never gonna go 'way

Now it's fine, the out-of-business sign
Has been taped right onto the door
We've been tough, but now we had enough
We can't take it any more

Dumped the shoes, we're tryin' something new
Another venture we will dare
Open soon, we'll fill the whole darn room
With some second-hand underwear

(No more)
Smellin' (Smellin..)Smellin' heels
There ain't no other place gonna
Make these kind of deals
Smellin' (Smellin..)Smellin' heels
And this odor never gonna go 'way

Stink high high............
More to come...

Rick D - I, too, am unacquainted with Original Song. MWC was not on my radar too much(saw it a few times). I've tried to avoid too much TV (especially sitcoms) for a long time (even though I admit some of them are entertaining). It's just real bad for my head to watch very much of it. I'm sure others will be around to look/comment/vote as the day goes on.

It's not really about MWC, It's just a coincidence that one day I had one about Al Bundy, and the next one about stinky shoes. The thing I found interesting about the original song is that McCartney managed to use just ONE chord (and a very short riff) and make a hit song with it. Even "Respect" has two.
