"Feelings"

Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Ceilings"

Parody Written by:

Ceilings
Ceilings, nothing more than ceilings
Trying to paint my ceilings and walls
Ceilings
Drip, drip, drip
Ceilings
Drip, drip, drip
Ceilings
I'll never paint again

Paint drops
Falling onto my face
Wish I could forget them
My ceilings and walls

Ceilings, cracked long as I've lived here
Tried to hire a pro, but
He never came again

Ceilings,
Drip, drip, drip,
Ceilings,
Drip, Drip, Drip
I'll never paint again

Mouldings, must I now do moldings?
I have never done them before
Don't know where to start
Ceilings, Home Depot was useless
I wish I hadn't started this
I'll never paint again

Ceilings,
Ceilings, nothing more than ceilings
Trying to paint my ceilings and walls
Ceilings
Drip, drip, drip
Ceilings
Drip, drip, drip
Ceilings
I'll never paint again

Nice try, Mason. I wouldn't touch "Feelings" with a ten foot pole; it's been done to death and is almost a parody in its original form

Thanks Kristof! My ten-foot pole had a paint roller at the end of it! Actually I came up with this parody in the early 80s, during a painting party with a bunch of friends fixing up an apartment I'd just moved into. I guess it didn't age very well :-)
