This parody was inspired by the decision of the amiright.com webmaster to abandon the Weekly Top 10 list after some idiots skewed the results by voting early and often like they do in Chicago. This happened at a time that one of my parodies made it to #13 on the weekly chart and #49 on the monthly.
I was once a spoof-writing son of a gun,
Now I keep a lookout for the dude who always gives me a "one."
I was climbin' high, till some cheating idiots shut the voting down.
Amiright knows where to find me, I'm Michael the spoof-writing clown!
In the writin' and the spoofin,' I was closing in on number 10.
Now in dreams at night, my spoofs top the charts that usta've been.
Since Chucky abandoned the Top Ten list and took the charts all down,
Though the others think I'm funny, I'm Michael the spoof-writing clown.
I could write them all,
There's hardly a song I cannot spoof.
But some voted early and often, it skewed the polls
And turned them into a goof!
