My music hobby is performing old songs (mainly 30’s through 70’s). I write funny parodies for some of them. I change the song’s serious theme to something funny but retain original lyrics and rhyme as much as possible. This one got started by changing the song theme from "take the ribbon from your hair" to "take the rosebush from your hair".

It’s not good for you at all
Thorns a sticking in your skin
Blood is dripping on the wall

Til those thorns are out of sight
With a rosebush in our bed
