The Lyrics

Sometimes restaurant servers can get a little pushy when it comes to recommendations...
Had my fill of soup, stop tryin'
To offer me a bo-owl
Don't want towers of pork fryin'
Not my choice for dinin'

You're pushin' this stuff
I don't want it, man
Don't want ta-arts or chicken ste-e-ew (passin' on that dish)
Please let me speak u-up
Don't want your honeyed ha-a-am
Only thi-ing I want from you (just one thing)
Just one thing (ooh) I want to chew

I just want a croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry
I want a croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry
Give me my croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, so won't you please (won't you please)
Fetch one for me-e (one for me-e)?

Want a bill that's not raisin'
I'll pass o-on the rib stea-eak
Paid to gi-ive recommendations, that's okay (ooh)

But could you shut up
For a second, ma-an (for a sec, man)?
No, I don't want any fri-i-ies
Please take a hint, bu-ud
Don't want all this foo-oo-ood (all of this foo-oo-ood)
Heard my sto-omach grumble? Lies (yes, I'm sure)
Don't assume you know me, right

I just want a croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry
One friggin' croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry
Just want a croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, I wish to feed (wish to feed)
On that, so plea-ease (won't you plea-ease)
Can I get a croissa-ant (just want a croissant)?
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry
One single croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry
That's all that I wa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, can you hear me-e (should hear me)?
No combos, plea-ease, ooh-ooh (no deals, plea-ease)
Just one bloody croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry
Can't get a croissa-ant (just want a croissant)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry
You're out of croissa-ants (right out of croissants)?
Ooh-ooh-ooh, didn't tell me-e (should tell me)
At the start, gee-eez (what gives, gee-eez)
Guess I better piss o-off (if you lack croissants)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, hungry

I only remember, like, three songs from Grease. Of the two songs I don't like, I'm glad I got stuck parodying this for Matthias' Karaoke Revolution challenge and not Summer Nights. Why? Because it's easier to ignore a horrible moral (which this song comes packaged with as both end the film) than it is to ignore obnoxiousness (which is my main issue with Summer Nights, though the "did she put up a fight?" line is very iffy). Guess a kid from the 90's can't expect much from a film from the 70's set in the 50's, can I?
