Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Welcome Back, Armstrong"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Welcome back,
The Marines were your ticket out.
Welcome back,
To that same old site where we laughed aloud.

Well, some new faces have come
Since you hung around,
But our dreams are the same
And we've gotten down.

We all knew we'd miss ya,
(We all knew we'd miss ya),
Yeah, well we need ya,
(Yeah, well we need ya),

Yeah, we tease you a lot,
Like I tease my cat Spot,
Welcome back!!!

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back...
2004 Michael W. McVey

Michael, nice tribute to one of our defenders and a nice congratulations to a person who just passed a test of character. Basic training is not a lot of fun and Jordan has passed that test of character. I wish him well on his military career. A fine thoughtful parody. Well done and 5 votes from this former military member.

Well, since I happen to be one of the new faces, I look forward to seeing some of his spoofs. Btw, when I was a kid, Kotter was one of my favorite TV shows. -- MM
