I seriously cannot take Annie's Song seriously, thanks to Monty Python's "Farewell To John Denver". And now for my incredibly silly parody!
I feel like a sandwich
The bread has to be Helga's
Need some chicken - a thick slice
Thin one won't have much taste
Maybe cheese and some beetroot
Not much room for the pickles
I inhale my sandwich
I'm hungry again
I want to eat you
But I already ate you
And your slices of beetroot
Sauce dripping down my arms
Regretting that I ate you
I had great fun making you
Wish I could eat you
Just eat you again
It was so fun eating you

It would seem to make sense, but

I have had a sandwich for lunch for nearly every single school day for 12 YEARS. Once I finish Year 12, I'm never touching a sandwich again, I swear.

There's that reference to "beetroot" again, and I still have no idea what exactly that is... This was a pretty yummy parody though.
Yes, this was silly, but still a lot better than the OS. I just ate breakfast and I'm getting hungry again.

For some reason I think of a Benny Hill song where he exhorts his vegetable-eating lover to "beetroot to " him. This was OK.

(SOTM) Nice job on an OS that just screams out to be parodied!!!...555!!!
(SOTM) Conqueror this song just seems like it needs to be parodied. There weren't a lot of killer lines here buddy, but it was very well written, and somewhat relatable, I remember the sandwich days, they can get tiring, but to be honest I'd take them back in a heartbeat since now I'm stuck on Ramen and Velveta pretty much every day (they are cheap and easy)
However tempting it is to say this is "Sub-standard", it was slightly more filling than that. Not your best, though.
