Parody Song Title:

"You Are In Hooterville (With Me)"

Parody Written by:

Stuart McArthur

sadly this honest and heart-breaking love song from Oliver (Eddie Albert) to Lisa (Eva Gabor) only made it to the Greenacres Editing-Room floor
You are in Hooterville
with me
Chew grass in Hooterville
with me
- your Ollie!

Forever to be broke, you'll
forever be dirt-y
You are in Hooterville
with me

Blue-grass and Hooterville
and me!
You can't stand Hooterville?
sorry!
I agree...

your every dream and hope for
your life I've..I've ruined them indeed
coz
now we're in Hooterville
(whoopee)

Great title and parody but, was Hooterville the title of a porn movie?

Do they have Hooters over in Austrailia? Over here they're famous for their...wings.

I had forgotten that Petticoat Junction was a spin-off of Green Acres (or was it vice-a-versa?). Great concept...but it didn't really "work" for me...maybe iffin ya woulda mentioned Arnold the Pig?....

ah, innocent question, Rick, or not? - Hooterville was the name of the town that Oliver and Lisa moved to, in Greenacres, but yes, good points - it's probably the name of a porno movie too :)

no that's one chain that hasn't yet arrived downunder, Jeff

thanks AFW and Red Ant and JD

tried to get Arnold Zimbalist Junior in, Chuck, but it's a very short OS, and Green Acres was a spin-off of Petticoat Junction, I think - but they were both spin-offs of The Beverley Hillbillies, and shared some characters
