Could you do me a favor? Could you tape the rest of the "Pigmen and the Women Who Love Them" discussion, so I can see it later? I gotta go write this parody about "Seinfeld" character Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
Who's that girl who's held
grudge against Seinfeld?
Elaine.
She's a girl on the make.
Watch out, knows how to fake.
Elaine.
She can lie, she can lie, she can lie...
Elaine.
Don't you wear any fur.
You'll get lecture from her.
Elaine.
And don't you dare light a smoke.
She will get you, no joke.
Elaine.
You no light, you no light, you no light...
Elaine.
If you're into the grunge
you're not worthy of sponge.
Elaine.
But you know what I think?
She can be plied with drink.
Elaine.
Get her high, she will lie, with you guy...
Elaine.
Get her high, she will lie, with you guy...
Elaine.
Get her high, she will lie, with you guy...
Elaine.

Mike, Eric Clapton performed this song, not J.J. Cale.
nice tribute....and JJ wrote and performed it first
MOYD - this was even funnier than The Little Kicks
Since she's so careful about cleanliness, she'll probably never get the Clapton.
Dylan: I have this nasty habit of crediting the original performers, which is why most of my "Reason To Believe" parodies go to Tim Hardin rather than Rod Stewart. Then again, I've done a few to "A Boy Named Sue" and never used Shel Silverstein as the original artist. John: If she does, it'll be on Page Six (which the Post, for some reason, usually puts on Page 10), and the whole New York Tri-State Area is gonnorrhead all about it. (That's actually a 25-year-old joke from "Saturday Night Live," but, hey, you started it.)
There must be something wrong with me, I never considered her to be very hot.
The idea isn't that she was hot... although she sure thought she was... the idea is that she's nuts and a lot easier than she thinks she is. She needs a "shortstop," as long as he's sponge-worthy. Really, she and Jerry (the TV version, anyway) deserved each other.
