| Parody Song Title: | "Was Found Underground" |
| Parody Written by: | Guy DiRito |
Was found underground, jacked up and shuckin',
He used to be that country's number one.
He's got a tough row to hoe, and he ain't goin' nowhere,
He's court bound and got nowhere to run.
Gave himself a bunch of medals, he's got just what it takes,
Soon they'll string him out, 'cause he'll not get no breaks.
His boys been nasty in Karbala and on down there in south Basrah,
And he's gonna talk, we'll make him shake and bake.
Was found underground, jacked up and cluckin',
He used to be that country's number one.
He's got a tough row to hoe, and he ain't goin' nowhere,
He's court bound and got nowhere to run.
Was found underground, jacked up and cluckin',
He used to be that country's number one.
He's got a tough row to hoe, and he ain't goin' nowhere,
He's court bound and got nowhere to run.
Our spooks all have their ears on, that's how they spot his trail,
He's under arrest, now he's in jail.
So he tried to dodge 'em and he tried to duck 'em,
We gotta get that weasel cluckin'.
He's in the slammer and we'll give him hell.
Was found underground, jacked up and cluckin',
He used to be that country's number one.
He's got a tough row to hoe, and he ain't goin' nowhere,
He's court bound and got nowhere to run.
He used to be that country's number one.

Good read, Guy. I don't know the song though.
Same here - DKTOS but looks good.
Mercy sakes, I do believe Guy's got the front door there, Rubber Duck.
Strained just a bit on the pacing, but a fun one! I DO know the original. S&tB was one of my guilty pleasures from the old CB days - lol! I do confess I never saw the sequels. I do swear that Jackie Gleason made that movie - Burt, Sally and Jerry notwithstanding! Good use of the original lyrics and a good theme choice - though maybe we need a few more guys from my age (or at least interest) group to give it a read so it can get a fair hearing - lol!
5-5-5 for you! Excellent parody of this song! I'm gonna make a parody of that song as well. Seriously, people oughta send in more Jerry Reed parodies.
